Who is behind the Health IT Marketing and PR Conference?
This conference is organized by HealthcareScene.com and InfluentialNetworks.com. Healthcare Scene is a network of influential Healthcare IT blogs and health IT career resources that cover everything from EHR to mobile health. Influential Networks is a health IT content marketing and influencer platform. Our goal for the conference is to provide a unique event for health IT marketers and PR professionals to learn about the latest trends in marketing and PR from both inside and outside of healthcare.

What if I have an amazing presentation I think would blow away conference attendees?

 

We’ve opened our call for speakers that will run through the end of October. If you have ideas for things you’d like to see at the conference, please reach out to us on our contact us page and let us know your ideas. We do everything possible to make sure the community drives the healthcare marketing and PR content at the conference.

 

When exactly is the conference?

 

The conference will be held on April 5-7, 2017. The conference schedule will include sessions all day on Thursday, April 6th along with an evening event. Friday, April 7th will have conference sessions until late afternoon and there will be an optional meetup Friday night that want to end the conference with some fun in Vegas. We also offer a number of deep dive pre-conference workshops on Wednesday April 5th. Topics for these pre-conference deep dive workshops will include topics like SEO and blogging. On Wednesday, April 5th we also put together some casual meetups for attendees who arrive early. We’ll be posting the full conference schedule on the program page.

 

Where in Las Vegas is the event and will their be a conference hotel?

What is the dress for the conference?

 

At the first HITMC, there was a real desire for the event to be a casual event. Following the attendees desires, HITMC is a casual (jeans and t-shirt) dress event. We’ll try to make this clear in our communications so no one feels out of place in their dress or suit.

 

Will the meals be included in the event?

 

We have a high quality breakfast each morning and a full catered lunch each day. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know on our contact us page and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

 

Will their be wifi at the event?

 

Yes, we will have wifi at the event.

 

What’s your cancellation policy?

 

Unfortunately, we have a no refund policy for all registrations. However, we are happy to transfer a registration from one person to another as long as we get the request prior to printing the conference name badges. Just reach out to us on our contact us page if you’d like to transfer a registration.
