Cynthia Porter is President of Porter Research, a proven go-to-market research firm for HIT vendors who market to healthcare organizations including payers, providers, and consumers and biomedical companies. She is an accomplished executive with experience in strategic initiatives in research, sales, marketing, operations, product marketing and consulting.
She actively works with marketing and PR firms, consultants, investment firms and other research firms as a part of their team when healthcare IT market research expertise is needed. She has been the coauthor of HCI100 the last four years for the Healthcare Informatics magazine and speaks at numerous association and company meetings.
Prior to Porter Research Cynthia had executive sales and marketing experience with HBO (McKesson). Medaphis (McKesson), Xerox Medical Devices and Abbott Laboratories Hospital Solutions.
Cynthia received her Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology and chemistry from Arizona State University, and earned her MBA in finance and marketing from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
