When we realized the Healthcare and IT Marketing Community (HITMC) wouldn't be together in Las Vegas in 2020, we knew we couldn't simply shift everything we had planned in-person to a virtual event. Instead, we wanted to reimagine what a HITMC virtual event could be. After all, one of the goals of the HITMC Conference has been to create a truly memorable and engaging experience for the community. 

We understand that great content is important, but engaging and connecting with other attendees is just as valuable.

This is what drove us to create Virtual HITMC20 - Part Deux:

* Live Engagement with Attendees
* Famous HITMC Unconferences
* Virtual Reality Networking
* and more...

Unlike many virtual events where it's faster to watch the recording, Virtual HITMC20 will provide unique opportunities for attendees to engage with speakers, sponsors, and each other that won't be available in the event recordings.

While we had hoped to be able to be at the 2020 Healthcare and IT Marketing Conference (HITMC20) with all of you in beautiful Las Vegas, COVID-19 had other plans for us all.

We knew we had to move to a virtual event, but we wanted to do more than a standard online conference. Luckily, we learned a lot from our first Virtual HITMC20 event back in May. Our team has taken what worked well and will be amping it up for Virtual HITMC20 – Part Deux.

We recognize that engagement with other attendees and speakers is core to the HITMC experience and is one of the things we love most about getting together in-person. We also know that it’s very difficult for people to pull themselves away from their job for 3 consecutive days for a virtual event, like they can for an in-person one.

To address these challenges, Virtual HITMC20 – Part Deux will be spread out over 4 half-day events during November and December. Each event will pair amazing educational content with attendee engagement. While the recording of our educational sessions will be available afterwards, you won’t get the full experience of connecting with fellow members of the community unless you attend live.

1:00 – 1:10 PM –  Break/Networking
1:10 – 1:50 PM – Unconference Breakout Sessions
1:50 – 2:00 PM – Break
2:00 – 2:20 PM –  Session #3 with attendees live chatting with each other
2:20 – 2:40 PM – Session #4 with attendees live chatting with each other
2:40 – 3:00 PM – Interactive Post-Session Discussion (similar to a TV after show)
3:00 – Virtual Reality Networking After-Party (web browser based)

We know how tough it is right now, so we will be making scholarships available for those that need help covering the costs to attend this virtual event.
