Who is behind the Healthcare and IT Marketing Conference?
This conference is organized by HealthcareScene.com. Healthcare Scene is a media network that covers everything from health IT to healthcare marketing.  Our goal for the conference is to provide a unique event for healthcare and IT marketers and PR professionals to learn about the latest trends in marketing and PR from both inside and outside of healthcare.

Do you have sponsor and exhibitor packages available?

 

Yes. We have a variety of sponsorship and exhibitor packages available. If you’re interested, drop us a note on our Contact Us page and we can talk you through the various options.

 

What if I have an amazing presentation I think would blow away conference attendees?

 

We usually open our call for speakers in August and run it through the end of October. If you have ideas for things you’d like to see at the conference, please reach out to us on our contact us page and let us know your ideas. We do everything possible to make sure the community drives the healthcare marketing and PR content at the conference.

 

When exactly is the conference?

 

The conference is usually held in April or May every year over 3 days.  The conference agenda includes panels, presentations, interactive workshop sessions, and are now famous unconference sessions where the attendees drive the discussion, ask the questions and give the answers.  Plus, we always include plenty of formal and informal social events for attendees to connect with other attendees and have some fun.   Be sure to check out the full conference schedule on the program page along with the specific dates and times.

What is the dress for the conference?

 

At the first HITMC, there was a real desire for the event to be a casual event. Following the attendees desires, HITMC is a casual (jeans and t-shirt) dress event. We’ll try to make this clear in our communications so no one feels out of place in their dress or suit.

 

Will the meals be included in the event?

 

We have a high quality breakfast and full catered lunch during the conference. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know on our contact us page and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

 

Will their be wifi at the event?

 

Yes, we will have wifi at the event.

 

What’s your cancellation policy?

 

We encourage you to send a replacement if you cannot attend. We are happy to transfer a registration from one person to another for FREE as long as we get the request prior to printing the conference name badges. If you don’t have a substitute and would like to still cancel your registration, we will refund registration fees minus a $200 processing fee if a written request to cancel the registration is received by April 5, 2020.  Just reach out to us on our contact us page if you’d like to transfer or cancel a registration.  After April 5, 2020, all registration fees will be nonrefundable.
