Preview of Healthcare IT Marketing and PR Sessions

If you haven’t been checking regularly, we’ve been adding a lot of the speakers that will be participating in the inaugural Healthcare IT Marketing and PR conference. I think we’ve got about 2/3 of the speakers added. As you can see, we have a really amazing group of talented people who will be sharing their knowledge with us.

We’ve also been working to add more details on the various sessions we’ll be holding at the conference. You can see many of those sessions listed on our program page. However, I thought I’d give you a nice little preview of a few of the sessions:

Humor and Non-traditional Marketing Panel – This panel will stretch your creative minds as you hear about Extormity (NoMoreClipboard/MIE), the Revenue Integrity World Tour (Craneware), Lady Gaga-HL7 Interface (NueMD), and Heroes (CDW). Each of these campaigns took a non-traditional approach to marketing. We’ll be diving in with each company to learn the results these unique campaigns had for their organizations.

Using Content and Influencers to Market Your Business – In this session, Shahid Shah, Co-Founder of Influential Networks, will discuss the right way to use content and influencers to market your product and business. He’ll take a look at how to structure your message so it hits the right market and gets heard. Plus, he’ll look at how to evaluate the ROI of content and influencer marketing.

Integrating a Marketing Team and Product Line Post-Acquisition – In this session Julia Goebel, VP of Marketing at Stericycle, will share her first hand experience integrating a marketing team and multiple product lines after an acquisition. Many are predicting an onslaught of health IT companies being acquired, so Julia’s insights can provide great insight for those who might find themselves in a similar situation.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): What’s Real and What’s Myth – In this session Kristine Schachinger, SEO Expert, will help you better understand what’s happening in the world of SEO. She’ll provide a look at what it takes to do quality SEO and how long it takes to see real results. She’ll also work through some of the myths that exist with SEO and provide you a better understanding of the building blocks that go into a solid SEO strategy.

Paid Media vs Earned Media Panel – In this panel, we’ll have a deep discussion into the differences between Paid Media and Earned Media. We’ll talk about trends that are happening in the industry and where we see Paid and Earned media going in the future.

Be sure to go and register for the event now to get the early bird registration rates. The early bird registration deadline is 2/15/14. After that date, the rates will go up by $500. So, don’t delay.
